English Culture and Language

Vision

The EL Adventurers’ Club aims to excite students about the learning of the English Language through interesting and engaging activities in a fun environment as well as build oracy and confidence in public speaking.

Objectives

The objectives of the Club are to:

• Create a love and appreciation for the English Language through interesting and engaging activities
• Provide students with an opportunity to express their personal views and their creative talents

Key Programmes

Some examples of the activities that the club carries out include writing fractured fairy tales, producing mini movies, cooking and writing recipes and playing educational word games. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in school events and public speaking competitions.
