Visit by Swedish Educators

On 2 May 19, the school hosted a group of 20 primary and secondary mathematics teachers from Sweden. The visit was coordinated by NIE as part of their programme to one Singapore primary and secondary school to learn about the Singapore mathematics curriculum. During their visit, they observed how mathematical concepts were taught in the various levels. Our students also made full use of this opportunity to interact with the Swedish visitors. In P1.2, students happily volunteered the tallest visitor to demonstrate the measurement of distance using non-standard units. The visit ended with a dialogue with Ms Goh Ming Sze (HOD Mathematics) where they exchanged ideas on teaching. Hej då vänner!
